Nico Wohl is a guitarist and composer from Great Barrington, Mass. During high school, he attended the Manhattan School of Music Precollege for jazz guitar. In 2018 and 2019, he was a member of Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz and played at Carnegie Hall each year he attended. With this program, he toured Europe with Dianne Reeves in 2018 and China with Kurt Elling in 2019. He is also a 2019 Youngarts finalist in jazz. Since 2019, he has attended the Peabody Conservatory, where he studies with guitarist Matthew Stevens. His own composition is mainly influenced by jazz, but takes cues from Brazilian and classical music, among other styles.

Koleby Royston is a 19-year old musician from Denver, who comes from a family of musicians. He found his love for drumming at age 15, when he attended the Jazz House Kids Summer Workshop in Montclair, NJ. Royston has worked alongside notable musicians including Sean Jones, Allison Miller, Mark Whitfield Jr., Tia Fuller, Mimi Jones, Josh Evans and Julius Tolentino. He strive to continue improving his craft as a Black American Musician.

Aidan Taylor is a Peabody Freshman, where he is a dual degree student in Jazz Bass Performance and Recording Arts and Sound Engineering. He studies under Kris Funn and prestigious pianist Stephen Scott. He is a five-time Downbeat Magazine Student Music Award winner, a 2020 and 2021 YoungArts Winner for Jazz Bass, and was selected for the 2021 Florida All-State Jazz Band. Also in 2021, his small ensemble won the Downbeat Student Music High School Small Ensemble Award and was a finalist in the National Jazz Festival. His Big Band won a spot as a finalist in the 26th Essentially Ellington Competition and Festival, and the 13th Annual Mingus Festival. Last year, Aidan was chosen as the 2020 Young Artist of the Year for the Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook, and was selected as the bassist for the 2020 Jazz Band of America.

Thomas Schinabeck is a saxophonist and composer from Cleveland. During middle and high school, he attended the Cleveland Tri-C JazzFest Academy weekend program, run by local jazz professionals. He played in a Cleveland-based high school all-star jazz combo, Spirit of the Groove, under the direction of professional trumpet player and Jazz at Lincoln Center Global Jazz Ambassador, Dominick Farinacci. With this group, he played with Terence Blanchard, Patrick Bartley, John Clayton and Shenel Johns. He is a first-year student at Peabody, where he studies under acclaimed saxophonist Tim Green and Jazz Studies Chair, Sean Jones.
