Styles from all over have influenced Lucia Fumero, a Catalan with Argentinian and Swiss roots established in Barcelona (Spain). The basis of his universe, where unique and singular colors explode, is rooted in folklore and enriched thanks to the background acquired in classical music and jazz. Interested both in songs with voice and lyrics and in instrumental music, Lucia Fumero offers a show with Nico Roig. Alongside composer, instrumentalist, and producer Nico Roig, they will share their own songs as well as some renditions of folk music that connect them and will transport the audience to a stimulating universe with the grace and musical sensitivity that characterize them. Two singular musical voices with a lot of personality.
Lucia Fumero / Formed between Barcelona and Rotterdam, Lucia Fumero is about to present her second record album after debuting with Universo normal, a collection of his own songs performed as a trio which has led her to play at the main Spanish jazz festivals and European festivals such as Athens Jazz Festival, the Opus Jazz Club in Budapest, Jazzaldia, the Getxo Festival and the Madrid Jazz Festival, among others. Unique and original in piano playing and composition, she won the 1st Musical Youth Award of Spain and the Emerging Band Award of Plataforma Jazz España. He has collaborated with artist and musician friends such as Rita Payés and Salvador Sobral, among others.
Nico Roig / Turning poetry into music, experiences into albums and versatility into simplicity. There are few songwriters capable of all this, and Nico Roig is more than that. Although he works as a producer, instrumentalist and composer on commission, it is really by writing his own songs that he finds his freest and most personal way. 'Suc de síndria' o 'Si la vida fuera' solo eso are two great examples of that. He is now presenting the album 'Esto frío no vale nada' and will take us on a journey through his version of traditional music from all over the world.
