Mike Geffner’s Inspired Word, one of New York City’s most popular indie performance series, presents Soundz & Vibez Off-Broadway.
The Lineup features…
Guy Simoneau is a singer/songwriter in his sixties - a testament to the enduring spirit of folk-rock music – who has featured at the Triad several times. With a career spanning four decades from Maine to California and now, New York City, Guy’s songwriting echoes the heartfelt storytelling of Tom Petty and the lyrical prowess of Bob Dylan. His acoustic guitar is an extension of his soul, weaving melodies to resonate across generations. With a knack for ad-libbing to keep the rhymes and cadence just right. He released his rousing “One Good Life” single in 2024.
NatraSin is a singer, songwriter and producer born and raised in the Bronx, who has been featuring and headlining shows all throughout the boroughs, including New Year’s Eve at the Triad. Her musical style is a mix of pop, R&B and jazz. But she is an experimentalist willing to try any sound. Her inspirations include Frank Sinatra, The Weeknd, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Eilish. She dropped her first single in June of 2024 that she wrote and produced called “God’s Design.” She dropped another single in October of 2024, “Only for the Night,” that she also wrote and co-produced.
Melissa Tungare is a singer/songwriter and multimedia artist from Morristown, New Jersey. They recently moved from LA back to the East Coast and can’t wait to share their Indian-influenced indie-pop with New York. Melissa’s art centers around themes of community, imperfection, color and a deep profound silliness. In their free time they design clothes, learn languages, collect new hobbies and games.
Hosted by former journalist Mike Geffner, who founded InspiredWordNYC in March 2009.
