Jazz Octet
SheBop Swing is an instrumental octet which features some of the finest musicians in the DC/Baltimore area, who also happen to be women. Trumpet, trombone, three saxophones, piano, bass, and drums combine to recreate the lush harmonies and swinging grooves of the big band era, with music by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, and more.
