The Redd Brothers return to Blues Alley for a holiday jazz tradition that goes back nearly 30 years for an evening of holiday favorites and jazz.
Chuck and Robert Redd are internationally known jazz artists that are based in the DC area. They have both had a long association with Blues Alley, having performed with countless jazz legends on stage at the club. They have also appeared as leaders there many times over the years. Robert is currently the pianist with The Duke Ellington Orchestra. Chuck tours as an independent artist on vibes and drums, appearing at jazz festivals and clubs including major venues in New York City. Chuck is the Artistic Director for The Oregon Festival of American Music.
He has performed over his career with Charlie Byrd, Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Tormé, Barney Kessel, Houston Person and many other jazz greats.
