Whether swinging a Sinatra standard or crooning a heartfelt ballad, Tony Gudell's powerful baritone brings the American Songbook to life in glorious Technicolor. With his unique vocal styling and lighthearted wit Tony has entertained audiences in the area’s top restaurants and jazz clubs, such as JoJo’s, Blues Alley, Alice’s Jazz and Cultural Society, The Crown And Crow, Acadiana, and a weekly Saturday night residency at Columbia Station. In 2019 Tony was hired as Lead Vocalist for the 18 member big band, Swing Shift, recreating those fantastic Nelson Riddle, Count Bassie and Neil Hefti arrangements popularized by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Nate Cole. Whether performing with a jazz trio, big band, or intimate piano, Tony effortlessly delivers a swanky evening, harkening back to the glamourous days of the Great American Supper Clubs of the 1940's and '50's
