Luis Ozoria returns to An Die Musik LIve! with a group of artists between the DMV and New Jersey. The group presents new compositions and arrangements from within the collective as they explore the candor within themselves and bring these thoughts out on the bandstand.

Luis Ozoria, an award-winning trumpeter, composer, and educator embodies a multifaceted approach to music that seamlessly blends innovation, tradition, and education. Luis's musical prowess extends across the Eastern Shore, where he seamlessly navigates diverse styles and genres. Luis has served as horn arranger for Cheers! The Band, music coordinator of the Fran Vielma Pan-American Jazz Orchestra, band leader of his “Candor collective”, and a founding member of Cortina Brass. Luis’s awards include being a finalist in the Ocean City Pops solo competition, a finalist in the Mid-Atlantic Brass band festival solo competition, a New Jersey Jazz Society Bill Walters Award winner, and receiving Rowan University’s 2021 Ann B. Ward Creative Achievement award. As an educator, Luis runs a private studio in the Baltimore area and is a staff member of the Peabody Institute and faculty of the Preparatory division.

In-person seats: $20/ $10 full-time students with valid ID
