BCPA Arts Festival
On behalf of the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts, we would be delighted to have your presence at our 20th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 5 at 6:30 pm. This fundraising event will celebrate twenty years of arts in education, community partnerships, and the bright future of the arts in Bowie. This celebration is hosted by Bowie's own Joe Clair and features performances from Tracy Hamlin and Talein Harris (Atlantic Star). Youth performances will showcase Bowie High School's drama and choral department and local dance studio Outlet Dance Complex. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served by Chef Kakes and her Conflicted Pig catering service (Winner of Food Network's Chopped). Food service will begin promptly at 6:30 pm, transitioning to the show at 8:00 pm with the concert concluding by 9:30 pm. There will be games, raffles, BCPA swag and other activities for all to enjoy.

All proceeds from this fundraising event will go to support the Bowie Center's Capital Improvement Projects, which include: A new marquee facing route 450, new carpet in the Main Hall, and bathroom renovations. It is our goal to raise $60,000 and complete phase one of our modernization plan.
