”With influences that range from the guitar of Charlie Christian to the oud playing of legendary Egyptian composer/singer Mohamed Abdel Wahab, on this album Hoffman soars on the wings of his own daring and inventive interpretations, but with a foundation that allows for his arrival back in the nest of jazz, with musical stories to tell. In the process, among listeners, aural receptors will be delighted, minds awakened, and hearts will be moved.” T.J. English (New York Times best-selling author and jazz aficionado)
