Joseph Foglia grew up in the triangle area of North Carolina and studied with Dave Finucane in the Durham Jazz Workshop.
He is currently finishing his degree at William Paterson University where he has had the pleasure of studying under mentors like Bill Charlap, Rich Perry, Dayna Stephens, Steve Nelson, Johnathan Blake and
more. Now primarily based out of Jersey City, New Jersey, Joseph plays In New York on the weekends while finishing his degree and teaching saxophone lessons. Recently, Joseph had the opportunity to work with the Trinidadian Trumpet player and percussionist, Etienne Charles at
Keystone Korner (Baltimore). Joseph has been described as “an imaginative and very advanced composer/arranger for
