Angela Bingham has been a singer her entire life. Her singing is characterized by the qualities of honest expression, solid swinging and an emphasis on the blues. Jim Ketch, director of the Jazz Studies department at UNC-CH for over 30 years and founder of the North Carolina Jazz Repertory Orchestra also runs his own Swingtet. One of the busiest players and teachers around and one of the most popular performers in the Sharp 9 concert series.
