Amanda McCarthy is a singer and performer working throughout the Midwest in a wide range of genres spanning pop, jazz, theater, classical music, and more.
Having been born into a musical family, her love for music, particularly singing, started at a young age. During her childhood, Amanda was involved in several local theatre groups, dance companies, and live musical performances where she developed foundational skills in singing, dancing, and acting. It was during this time she realized she wanted to pursue a career as a full-time vocalist and performer. She eventually went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014.
Amanda began her professional career more than a decade ago, having since gained significant experience in both live performances and studio recordings.
In a live music setting, Amanda has been a featured soloist and background vocalist in front of thousands, working alongside notable artists like Josh Kaufman (Season 6 winner of NBC's The Voice), Sandi Patty (five-time Grammy® award winner), the Gaither Vocal Band (eight-time Grammy® award winner), Broadway's Ben Crawford, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
Her theater performances include a lead role in "Snow White," as well as several other prominent roles in "Peter Pan," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Million Dollar Quartet," "Shrek: The Musical," "Singin' in the Rain," "Annie," and more.
