This is tribute to celebrate Roy Ayers remarkable 60 year journey in music with hits like "Everybody Loves The Sunshine", "Running Away", "Mystic Voyage", and "You Send Me" and many more timeless classics of great music by this giant iconic figure. This band will feature an extraordinary performance by the Ubiquity Band, that features long time Ubiquity members, Mark Adams on Keys, Donald Nicks on Bass, Chris DeCarmine on Drums, Bill White on Bass and John Pressley on vocals. The Ubiquity Band welcomes Derrick Barker on Vibes and Vocals. This is a Great Show! Ubiquity will be performing all of Roy Ayers songs in an authintic way.
Mark Adams has been Roy Ayers Musical Director since 1991, and has toured the world with this iconic giant and wants to continue to keep his legacy and music alive. Adams has 7 solo releases with his latest "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" that features Roy Ayers and Ron Carter. Mark has also performed with Eryka Badu, Maysa, Ronnie Laws, Tom Browne, Pete Rock and many others.
