"Jack Ramp's Unfortunate Cabaret" is a hilarious and cringe-worthy showcase of new talent, hosted by the egomaniacal and talent-challenged Jack Ramp, brother of the world-famous and beloved performer Patti Peters on whose coattails he has been riding his entire career.
The performers take the stage under Jack's bombastic and often painful guidance. As Jack goads them through their numbers, the audience is taken on a rollercoaster of emotions, wondering if Patti will actually show up as Jack has promised, and if any performer will explode at Jack's comments and strangle him.
Directed by Tim Valentine with musical direction by Daniel Prior, and a cast of extraordinary talent, some from the world-famous New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, "Jack Ramp's Unfortunate Cabaret" promises to be a night of laughter, cringes, and unexpected twists as the performers and audience alike navigate the ups and downs of Jack Ramp's larger-than-life personality.
