Durham's favorite ChamberSoul cellist and vocalist, Shana Tucker will premiere a new duo concept with her musical director and collaborator, pianist and vibraphonist Christian Tamburr, at Sharp 9 Jazz Gallery in Durham, NC, on Friday, April 4th. The performance will feature a blend of jazz, soul, acoustic pop, and classical influences, highlighting new arrangements of classic and deep-cut standards, original compositions and other reimaginings. Shana’s expressive vocals and cello, paired with Christian’s skillful piano and vibraphone arrangements, will create an evening of intimate and engaging music fit for this unique listening room setting.
