Nicolaus Gelin, a 22-year-old musician and artist from Miami, Florida, has garnered acclaim for his exceptional talents. Between 2017 and 2020, he achieved notable accolades, including the YoungArts Jazz Trumpet award, a Phil Knight award for the scoring of a short film in collaboration with Rosie Elliot, as well as being selected for the Carnegie Hall NYO 2020 Jazz big band. Recently graduating from the Manhattan School of Music, Nicolaus was mentored by distinguished figures such as Ingrid Jensen and Jon Faddis. Notably, Nicolaus Gelin was featured on Kabelo Mokhatla's debut album, "The Key To Authenticity," showcasing his versatility and collaborative spirit. His contributions extend beyond performance; he has developed a passion for black-and-white film photography and has ventured into visual art since fall 2022. In October 2023, he co-founded the holistic wellness music group and brand "Resonance" with Stephane Clement, which has been soaring with great clients and accolades. His multifaceted talents underscore his commitment to artistic excellence across music and visual arts, establishing him as a promising figure in contemporary artistic circles.
