Margo - A Woman in Berlin (new show!)
Who is Margo? - Margo, a term used to describe women in Berlin during the 1920s and early 1930s, is a symbol of the wild woman behind the mask, a woman who fights for her rights, including the right to vote and the right to abort.
Adrienne Haan, a renowned composer and performer, brings the mystical Kabarett genre to life in her erotic and political soirée noir. Margo tells the story of various women in Berlin during the Weimar Republic, highlighting their successes, failures, and struggles for freedom, sexuality, and equality, bringing back to life the witty and voluptuous cabaret music of the Weimar Republic.
Not to be missed! This show is a reminder, that history repeats itself.
