Join us for an evening of “tribes, vibes and scribes” as the incomparable MAYSA takes you on a journey into the “deep waters” of jazz, soul, funk and R&B on October 25-26th!

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, jazz-soul singer/songwriter Maysa Leak’s voice – sultry, jazzy and soulful – powered Incognito to international super stardom in the 90s - “Tribes Vibes a Scribes,” “Positivity,” “100° and Rising,” “Beneath the Surface” and “No Time Like the Future.” Now, Maysa released her highly anticipated 14th studio album off her own record label – “Music For Your Soul” - and the public has seen her in a different and fuller light.

Having collaborated with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Incognito, Angela Bofill, Will Downing and Jonathan Butler, Maysa can hang with the best. It is no wonder she was the recipient of many awards for her work, including Soul Train’s first Centric Award in 2009, and her first Grammy nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance for her remake of Nancy Wilson’s “QUIET FIRE” in 2014, and 7 female Vocalist of the Year Readers Choice Awards from Soul Tracks. She also placed second in Baltimore's first annual Billie Holiday Vocal Jazz Contest and auditioned for Stevie Wonder's vocal group Wonderlove. She was accepted into the group but joined only after she had earned her degree from Morgan State.

Keystone Kards are not applicable for this show.
