In 1994, Greg met Joey DeFranscesco who told him the Hammond B-3 was enjoying a popular renaissance.  He formed the Greg Hatza ORGANization and has been performing and recording on the instrument non-stop since that time. With the trend towards more advanced electronic keyboard and rhythms now, Greg adapted to the trend, switching from the Hammond B-3 to the electric keyboard and piano.

In the late sixties, Baltimore was still an organ town and had its share of great players. It was here that Greg really got a chance to hone his jazz organ skills by playing with the best musicians in town. Lenny’s club was a great stopping point for national jazz artists who came to Baltimore to perform. He also met and got to play in jam sessions with such personalities as Kenny Burrell, Groove Holmes, Damita Joe, Philly Joe Jones, Roland Kirk, Les McCann, James Moody, and Sonny Stitt.

Starting in June, Keystone Korner Baltimore will be returning to assigned seating for most of our shows. You will be able to select the exact table or bar seat where you want to sit, and choose between Regular or Premium seating. Please check out our seating chart on our website to see the differences in the seating. The price of the tickets/seating you select will vary depending on the artist. In order for customers to be seated and served properly, it is very important that audience members arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before showtime. For guests joining us for a full dinner and show, we strongly recommend arriving 45-60 minutes before showtime. Doors open at 5pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday. For our more popular shows, shared seating is required. Our Streaming Passes provide access to BOTH SETS from each night and remain available for 72 hours after the start of the show.
