KENNY PHELPS is one of the most in-demand jazz drummers internationally and in Indianapolis. His twenty-five years of playing experience has involved performances with Dee Dee Bridgewater, Christian McBride, Melvin Rhyne, Roy Meriwether, Wynton Marsalis, Eartha Kitt, Michael Brecker, Slide Hampton, Wycliffe Gordon, Chuchito Valdes, and the New York Voices, and countless more. Officially, Kenny was inducted into The Indianapolis Jazz Hall Of Fame in 2015. His touch has been compared to legendary drummer Tony Williams and his passion for entertainment production is recognized as one of the fastest-growing entertainment and production agencies in the city. He produced countless community festivals that have reached 1000s. He is more than a drummer, Kenny is an entertainer that you will never forget.
ZACH LAPIDUS is a pianist, electronic musician, and composer living in Brooklyn, NY. Combining his background as a jazz pianist with his skills as both a designer and player of synthesizers, Zach has become an in-demand collaborator for forward-thinking music that blends improvisation with electronic textures and timbres. As a jazz pianist, he has performed with Rich Perry, Caroline Davis, Frank Glover, Slide Hampton, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Wycliffe Gordon, Claudio Roditi, Corey Christiansen, Derrick Gardner, and Bobby Watson. His work as a sound designer and performer on keyboards and modular synthesizer can be heard in the bands and recordings of Corey Christiansen, Jeff Miles, and Sergej Avenesov.
NICK TUCKER is an active freelance musician in Central Indiana and has been the house bassist for the American Pianists Awards jazz competition since 2014. He currently resides in his hometown, Indianapolis. Nick performs extensively in all areas of music with numerous jazz, Latin, and rock groups in Indianapolis and throughout the Midwest. He has performed with Miguel Zenón, Rich Perry, Alan Pasqua, Randy Brecker, Mike Clark, Bobby Watson and Stefon Harris, among many other jazz greats. Nick has performed all over the United States, as well as in Europe and South America.
